Vassilis Spanoulis is the absolute Euroleague leader and the player who should have the ball in his hands in clutch time according to the Euroleague general managers.
The second part of Euroleague GM’s survey was announced and the captain of the Olympiacos was voted by a huge difference from the second the top leader, taking 58.33% of the votes against 8.33% who voted the captain of Panathinaikos Dimitris Diamantidis, Tyrese Rice and Sergio Llull. “Kill-Bill” is also chosen by 50% of GM as the player who should take the last shot and also got 25% for the player with the highest basketball IQ, together with Teodosic and behind Real Madrid‘s Sergio Rodriguez.
Nando De Colo of CSKA Moscow, however, is the favorite by 58,33% for the title of the Euroleague MVP, a category in which Spanoulis was not voted. Nando De Colo is also voted as the best shooting guard and as the player who most GM would like to get for their team. Also it has to be noted that Jan Vesely of Fenerbahce is voted both among the best powerforwards of the league and also as the best center. So here are the results
