The Italian Cup Top8 at Milan ended with the hosts, EA7 Emporio Armani Milano getting the trophy for the first time after 20 years. However, the “Red shoes” are once again dominating Italian basketball.

The game started with a 21-11 first quarter lead for the eventual winners and despite the effort of Avellino, Milano got in the end the 82-76 win. The team of coach Repesa never trailed and Avellino was never in a position to be really threatening. On the contary Milano led even by 17 points (78-61).

Rakim Sanders with 17 points and 7 rebounds was the MVP of the game, Jamel McLean added 15 points and Milan Macvan had 14, however the hero of the day was Bruno Cerella who played 6 minutes and got 5 rebounds who played just one day after having a knee surgery.
