Zalgiris Kaunas with less than four minutes left was leading (63-60) in its quest for a second Top16 win. However, the end belonged to the hosts, as Laboral Kutxa with a 11-2 run got the 71-65 win.

Darius Adams had 17 points and once again Giannis Bourousis was always there when needed with 16 points, some of them more than crucial in the end, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and no turnover. His only flow was just 1/6 threes. From the other side, an other Greek center, Ian Vougioukas, led Zalgiris with a double double (13 p., 13 r.) and captain Paulius Jankunas also had 13 points.

After a totally tied first half (32-32) which included very sloppy basketball, Zalgiris managed to finished the third quarter with a 8-0 run and got a 53-45 lead, while Baskonia made three turnovers, missed three threepointers, two two-point shots and Bourousis got a technical foul.

However things changed in the last quarter with the hosts tying the game at 58 with five minutes left after a 13-5 partial score that restored order. Laboral Kutxa is still tied with CSKA Moscow in the group standings with a 6-2 record, while Zalgiris is still stuck at 1-7.
