Rimantas Kaukenas lost the last shot in regulations, but with 24 points and a big three in overtime the 39 years old Lithuanian led Reggio Emilia to the 98-96 win over Venezia and to the top of Legabasket’s standings with a 16-6 record.

The veteran Lithuanian had the help of Pietro Aradori who scored 25 points, 19 of them in just 13 minutes of action in the first half, while Mike Green (28 p.) and Phil Goss did their best for Umana Venezia in a game that was all about offense. EA7 Milano which celebrated 80 years  from its instituion is second (16-5) having played one game less after beating Torino 94-90 (79-79) also in overtime. Cremona is third (15-7), Avellino fourth (14-8), Pistoia follows (13-9) and Venezia (11-11) is tied with Brindisi (11-11) at the sixth place.
