Former player Sebastien Bellin was injured at Brussels Airport during the bombing attack.
Bellin is a Brazilian-Belgian ex-professional basketball player who has also been a part of the Belgian national basketball team during his career. He made his last appearance in 2010. He is placed in intensive care and his condition is currently unknown.
The Antwerp Giants team which is scheduled to play Pallacanestro Varese in Italy for the FIBA Europe Cup was also in the airport.
