The first team that will do battle in the title-series of the Italian league is known. By winning Venezia 60 – 68 on the road, Olimpia Milano made the 3-2 in the series and returned to the Finals after 2014.
Now coach Repesa and his players are waiting to find out their opponents between Reggio Emilia and Avellino.
Milano held control and the lead in the vast majority of the match. Even though Venezia posed one serious resistance and made a strong attempt to win, the guests were the ones to smile near the end.
Oliver Lafayette (16 points) and Krunoslav Simon were a formidable duo for the winners, while Stefano Tonut finished the match with 12 points and 7 rebounds for Venezia.
