The season is not over yet for Zalgiris Kaunas, which competes for the Lithuanian LKL league championship title, but the defending champs already made their first summer move.
As they officially announced, French guard Leo Westermann signed with them for next season with an option for 2017-18. Westermann used his opt out clause in his contract with former French champions Limoges and he will play in Euroleague next season with the Green jersey of the Lithuanian club.
This season Westermann averaged 10.1 ppg and 4.3 asp in Euroleague as the starting point guard of Limoges.
