A magical season was completed in the most ideal way for CSKA Moscow. The Euroleague champions confirmed their status as the top team in the continent by also dominating VTB League, defeating Unics Kazan 81 – 74 in Game 4 of the Finals, making the 3-1 and winning the title for the fifth consecutive time and sixth overall.

There was no question at any moment of the match as to which team was better. Guided by a double-digit lead that was established by the first quarter and even making it a 20-point game, 34 – 54 in the final minutes of the third period, CSKA Moscow never fell behind the score, despite a valiant comeback effort by Unics Kazan.

Arturas Milaknis blazing action from behind the arc (7/11 three-pointers and 23 points in total), embodied the survival instincts of the hosts, that brought them close 72 – 75 with 53 seconds to go. But four consecutive points by Nando De Colo, silenced the crowed and sealed the victory for his team.

The French combo guard was also the first scorer for CSKA Moscow with 16 points (but 3/16 from the field). Milos Teodosic, who was also named MVP of the Finals, added 11 plus 3 assists and Kyle Hines had 10 with 4 rebounds.

Unics Kazan didn’t stand a chance against its opponents’ obvious superiority in the Finals. Apart from Milaknis, Keith Langford finished the match with 16 points.
