Dave Lighty came from the bench and led the way with 20 points and ASVEL got the easy 90-69 win over Strasbourg. The team owned by Tony Parker reacted in Game 3 of the French ProA league finals and cut the lead of the guests at 2-1 wins.
Casper Ware added 19 points for the winners who started the game with a 24-14 first quarter and never looked back. It was a duel of the guards with Trenton Meacham contributing 13 more points for ASVEL, while Strasbourg’s backcourt tried its best.
Tony Taylor scored 16 points, Rodrigue Beaubois had 14 points and Mardy Collins added 13. With Game 4 coming up against at Lyon and ASVEL’s home court, it remains to be seen if Strasbourg can win the title on the road, or if we will have a Game 5.
