Evgeny Baburin has joined the forces of Lokomotiv Kuban, as the club officially announced. The 28-year old international Russian guard signed a three-year contract with the team from Krasnodar.
In the 2015/2016 season and wearing the jersey of Nizhny Novgorod, Baburin scored 9.6 points, grabbed 2.6 rebounds and dished 1.9 assists per game in Eurocup, while averaging 7.6 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.9 assists in VTB League. He is quite notable for his defensive capabilities and shooting efficiency.
Baburin will meet some familiar faces in Lokomotiv Kuban, since he will continue playing at the side of Dmitry Khvostov and Vladimir Ivlev, who also arrived from Nizhny Novgorod.
