While speaking to the Serbian news site “Sportklub.rs”, Jan Vesely announced that he is exploring his possible NBA options.
“From yesterday I’m a free-agent and no longer a member of Fenerbahce,” said Vesely. “I don’t know what will happen, I’ll evaluate the offers and then I’ll take a decision”.
However, as Eurohoops reported earlier in the summer, Fenerbahce has offered him a “golden” contract of 6 million euros for the next two seasons. Despite the initial informations about the side of the player taking the offer, there’s not contract signed yet. However, in order for Vesely to leave for the States, there’s need to be a better contract from an NBA team on the table and that remains to be seen.
