The French Basketball Federation announced the 12 players who compile the roster of the French national team for the Olympic Games in Rio.

No surprises were in order in the selections of coach Vincent Collet, save perhaps the absence of Evan Fournier. The Orlando Magic player had expressed his desire to participate in the Olympic Games with his country’s national team, but was ultimately left out.
