With the 23 points he scored against Croatia, Luis Scola did more than simply help Argentina make the 2-0 in the Olympic basketball tournament.

The Brooklyn Nets center has now accumulated 477 points in Olympic basketball tournaments, becoming the fifth top scorer in the related list.

Scola surpassed some legendary players such as Drazen Dalipagic (Yugoslavia – 461 points), Drazen Petrovic (Yugoslavia – 461) and Sergey Belov (USSR – 475). His next target?

Probably Pau Gasol (506 points) who managed to rise in the fourth position of the top Olympic basketball scorers thanks to his performance in the premiere of the games in Rio, when he dropped 26 points vs Croatia.

The one and only Oscar Schmidt will probably remain in the first place… forever (1093 points). Andrew Gaze (Australia – 789 points) and Wlamir Marques (Brazil 537 points) are currently second and third in the list.
