Seventh victory for Olimpia Milano in the team’s preseason games. This time, the “Red Shoes” edged Vanoli Cremona 82 – 74 in the final of the “Trofeo Lombardia” tournament.

The Serie A champs were always one small step ahead of their opponents in the match, but it wasn’t until the final period that they established a safe lead, when Bruno Cerella scored for the 80-68. This double-digit advantage was enough to grant them victory in the end.

Krunoslav Simon scored 21 points (8/12 from the field) and was the tournament’s top scorer with 49 points in total. Mantas Kalnietis added 13, while Miroslav Raduljica finished the match with 10 points and 6 rebounds. The Serbian center was also named MVP of the tournament.

Omar Thomas had 15 points and TaShawn Thomas 13 for Cremona.
