Displaying highly effective basketball on the second half, Alba Berlin kickstarted its venture in the new Eurocup season by beating Fuenlabrada 88 -81 at home.
Elmedin Kikanovic had no problem imposing his rule inside the paint, finishing the game with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Bogdan Radosavljevic (12 points, 6 rebounds), Dominique Johnson (12 points, 6 fouls won) and Dragan Milosavljevic (11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists) also provided important helps for the German team as well.
The triplet of Marko Popovic (17 points), loaned from Barcelona Moussa Diagne (15 points, 9 rebounds) and Ivan Paunic (14 points, 4 assists) stood out from Fuenlabrada.
