Bilbao is still unbeaten in Spanish Liga Endesa, but not in Eurocup as Alba Berlin prevailed on the road against the Spaniards after closing the game with a 11-2 run.

The final score was 85-77 in a contest decided in the last minutes. The two teams entered the last quarter with Alba having just a one point lead (57-56) in a game that was close from the start until the end. Bilbao even led 75-74 with two minutes left and then everything went Alba’s way.

Engin Atsur with a three gave the lead to the Germans (77-75), Payton Siva made it a four points game (79-75) with 25 seconds to go and that was enough. Dominique Johnson of Alba Berlin led all scorers with 21 points, Elmedin Kikanovic added 15 and Payton Siva had 14.

The unit of Turkish coach Ahmet Caki became the first team this season to beat Bilbao which got 15 points and 9 rebounds by Michael Eric.
