The Milwaukee Bucks are playing the Brooklyn Nets in “Bradley Center” with the ambition of continuing their winning streak after their victories against the Orlando Magic, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Nets away from home.

Naturally, Jason Kidd was faced with questions about the brilliant exhibitions Giannis Antetokounmpo has been putting on the floor since the beginning of the season.

When he was asked if he came into a part where he said that it’s time to stretch Giannis out, he said, “Literally, yes. For Giannis for what we see in him is the ability to do a lot. It’s alright to fail the first time. Most of the great ones do. But the great ones respond when they have the second opportunity. And I think that’s what he [Giannis] does. “

“When we gave him the ball in the preseason game against Cleveland it didn’t go well. And it’s fine. He didn’t stop. When we came around to it,  he was ready. You can see it in his work ethic, his mindset, he works to be good, he works extremely hard for it. Our job is to put him in such a position and to stretch him to be the best player that he can be.”

Does Kidd see a model when he reflects the direction towards Giannis can go? “A model? Like Victoria’s Secret model?” he joked. “You look at what he does. We are in the early stages of seeing where he can take us and what he can handle before we give him everything. You got to be a little patient. There’s a lot of communication between the two of us of understanding where we are trying to go. He has shown that he can handle a lot right now. And there’s going to be a time  where we’ll raise the bar again and see how he does.  But the model? You look at being around some in the best in the world and Lebron and Dirk. Wouldn’t it be cool to have those two combined as one player? Maybe that could happen.”
