Galatasaray prevailed over Armani Milano with 83-80, improving their record to 4-8 in the league standings, same as Milano.

Led by Vladimir Micov’s 23 points and 6 rebounds, the hosts were able to last an epic conflict against Jasmin Repesa’s team. For Galatasaray, Blake Schilb scored 17, Sinan Guler had 13 and Jon Diebler 11.

For Armani Milano, Rakim Sanders changed the pace of the game, though to no avail and scored 18 points, followed by Krunoslav Simon‘s 15, Ricky Hickman’s 13 and Miroslav Raduljica’s 12.

Micov led his team in the beginning of the game. The hosts controlled the game during the first period and kept a 6-point lead after 10 minutes, 21-15.

Even though Galatasaray was up by 16 points early in the third period, Ricky Hickman gave pace to the visitors who were able to wreck Milano’s defense, scoring 27 points. After 30 minutes the score was 62-59.

Sanders gave the Italian team the lead for the first time in the game at 34’, making the score 66-67. A few exchanges in the lead later, ties followed. While in the first half the game’s pace was faster, tables have been turned in the second. Gogsenik Koksal gave a breather three-pointer to his team, though Simon answered quckly with two long distance shots, giving the visitors a one-point lead! Tuys dunked in front of Raduljic, with the game on a knife’s edge!
