Things were not easy at all without Russ Smith and Justin Dentmon who are out of the team for good, however Galatasaray managed to get the 80-74 over Yesilgiresun.

With 45 seconds left Dogus Ozdemiroglu made it a one point game (75-74) but the guests couldn’t score again after that, despite entering the last two and a half minutes of the game with a 72-70 lead. Coach Ataman’s team has now an 8-3 record in the Turkish BSL which is good enough for the third place of the standings, while the losing side is left at 5-6.

Vladimir Micov (14 p.), Sinan Guler (9 p. 9 as.) and Tibor Pleiss (9 p. 12 r.) were the best of the winners, while young Turkish forward Okben Ulubay with 18 points was the top scorer of Yesilgiresun.
