Nando De Colo is back in action a month and a half after his last appearance in an official game and the dilemma for fantasy players remains: Should he return to your team or not?

The last round of 2016 and the last one for the first phase of the EuroLeague, is the first one after a while in which several of the top names in the competition are not going to be absent and so they’re going to be more expensive in fantasy.

Keith Langford was impressive on his return in the last round, Milos Teodosic as well, while the only one out of the best ten players in every category who is expected to be absent is Bogdan Bogdanovic, who has started attending practice with Fenerbahce, however.

Which players are worth “sacrificing” this week and which players should join your team? Before we go ahead with the analysis, let us remind you that the data has been updated in the last few days and Eurohoops’ fantasy tool is available to help you make the right choices.

So, the question that is “plaguing” most managers has to do with Nando De Colo. Is the Frenchman worth 102,4 credits (he remains the most expensive player in the game)? He needs a score of 25,6 and above in order to maintain his price and Eurohoops’ view is that, since all the other expensive players are available, it’s better to sit tight and wait for a drop in the price of last year’s MVP in order to acquire him. Besides, from the seven games he’s played this year, De Colo has scored more than 24 just twice.

On Crvena Zvezda’s home court, it’s better to trust only Milos Teodosic, who is back from his injury and is in pretty good shape. Together with Calathes, they are the most in-form point guards, and along with Udoh and Brown they make up a quartet that is worth 80+ credits and can definitely make the difference.

But let’s see which players are going to depart from the team. The risk with Felipe Reyes last week against Crvena Zvezda’s frontline didn’t pay off and so only Ayon is staying on. Also, Honeycutt is one of this column’s favorite players, but in the last four games he hasn’t exceeded his average and it looks like it might be better for a player that is in better form to join the team.

Lastly, the third change is going to be Matt Lojesky and the reason is not the bad game he had against Bamberg last week, but the upcoming showdown against Fenerbahce, one of the best teams defensively along the perimeter.

What about the players-bargains of the week? A player who is worth the risk is Efes’s Brandon Paul, who is coming off an impressive game. He doesn’t cost too much (just 33,2 credits) and he can go a long way. He is, after all, one of the very few undervalued players left, as you can see in the table below.

The Eurohoops team however, is going to move along safer grounds. Another “cheap” steal doesn’t seem to exist and with 158,6 credits available, the choices will have to be divided into three players who can play ball.

Starting from the big men, Ante Tomic seems like he’s in form. He has a rating of 31,1 on average in the last two games, Barcelona are facing Darussafaka, a team with no mobile big men and the Croatian looks ready to continue moving at high scores.

In the backcourt, Will Clyburn looks like he’s finding his form again. Darussafaka’s American guard takes on the most attempts for his team, collects a lot of rebounds, wins fouls and can produce a big score, even against Barcelona, who, of course, often get in trouble against players like him.

The last choice is going to be Blake Schilb, who has several ups and downs in his performance but who now has a leading role in Galatasaray, who see the game against Bamberg as a chance to launch a counteroffensive.

Enjoy fantasy!
