The good start of the season is history and EA7 Emporio Armani Milano lost in Moscow more than a game. The Italian champs were clearly out of their league as CSKA Moscow got the easy 101-64 win.

The “Army team” exploited all the weaknesses of the Italians, however what was missing from them above everything else was fighting spirit. CSKA had a 27-9 advantage after the first quarter, a 56-25 half time lead and cruised for the rest of the game.

The only question for Milano at this point is if changes are going to be made, since the team with a 4-13 record may have already missed the playoffs train and needs a complete turnaround. Nando De Colo scored 20 ponts without any pressure for the winners, Andrey Vorontsevich added 18 points and the game was over practically after the first 10 minutes.

Milan Macvan (17 p.) and Krunoslav Simon (15 p.) tried their best, but this didn’t translate to much. Without injured Rakim Sanders, a total of 21 turnovers and just 13 assists, Milano is in deep trouble after its biggest lose – based on the final points difference – in the EuroLeague history.
