A EuroLeague career-high for the Italian forward that did everything he wanted against his opponents.

David Pascolo scored a 15 points (all of them in the last 11 minutes of the match) EuroLeague career-high, leading Olimpia Milano to its biggest victory of the season, a 99 – 83 triumph over Olympiacos at home.

Krunoslav Simon (16 points, 7 assists) and Milan Macvan (15 points, 6 rebounds) also did a great job for their team in what was quite possibly Milano‘s top performance of the season.

While the “Red Shoes” have a mountain to climb in order to hope for a playoff spot since this was only their sixth win of the season, this result dropped the Greek squad to the third place of the standings and a 13 – 6 record.

Giorgos Printezis (16 points) and Kostas Papanikolaou (11 points, 8 rebounds) were the best that Olympiacos had to offer in a night during which their usually ironclad defense was full of gaps that Milano exploited to near perfection.

This is how Milano scored 41 (!) points in the last 12 minutes of the match making practically anything it wanted on court. Olympiacos first lost the minor 58 – 59 lead it held at that moment and then completely crumbled down defensively on the fourth quarter where its hosts first took a double-digit lead and then cruised to victory.

Erick Green (11 points) kept his team close up to one point but as soon the Reds lost touch with the basket everything became easier for their opponents.

Olympiacos had initially got off to a great start 15 – 21 but Milano caught up in the second quarter to balance the match 41 – 41 at halftime. Offensive rebounding was a beacon for the guests in their attacking efforts since they grabbed 21 (!) but their immense problems on the other end prevented them from cash in on them.
