Up next for Charles Galliou is JDA Dijon. The French club informed on his addition via press release on Tuesday.

“After Jeremy Leloup’s departure, we were looking for his replacement,” said head coach Laurent Legnam commenting on the signing. Jeremy Leloup left Dijon to sign a two-year contract with Elan Bearnais Pau-Lacq-Orthez.

Galliou, 24, is a youth academy product of LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne. Apart from loan stints with Antibes and Lille, he stayed with ASVEL throughout his career, which includes 18 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and 13 7DAYS EuroCup appearances.

“I am very happy to join JDA for the next season. A club with high ambitions and great results, both in France and at the European level,” he mentioned regarding his next chapter, “I can’t wait to start this new adventure with coach Legnam and my new teammates.”

The French forward is coming off posting 0.4 points, and 0.6 rebounds over 6.2 minutes per game in his debut EuroLeague season. As for his latest Jeep Elite Pro A run, he averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds per match.

Dijon is still part of the 2019-20 Basketball Champions League season tied at 1-1 with Nizhny Novgorod in a best-of-three Round of 16 series. The French club is expected to participate in the 2020-21 edition as well.
