VEF Riga added Isaiah Pineiro, the Latvian club announced on Wednesday.
Fresh off his debut professional season, the 25-year-old forward moves himself from the G League and the Stockton Kings to the Basketball Champions League. Last season, he posted 9.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.2 steals per contest.
Apart from launching his pro run, the 2019-20 season included Pineiro’s debut for the Puerto Rico national team as well. He competed in five 2019 FIBA World Cup matches averaging 6.0 points and 2.8 rebounds per game.
Michale Kyser, Kristers Zoriks, Kyle Allman Jr., Aigars Skele, Artis Ate, and Marcis Vitols are the rest of the summer additions so far for the BCL outlet.
