Despite missing David Holston, JDA Dijon improves Basketball Champions League tally to 2-0

JDA Dijon extended its winning streak in all competitions to seven games defeating ERA Nymburk, 85-61, Tuesday evening at the Palais des Sport Jean-Michel Geoffroy.

Alexandre Chassang matched his season-high with 22 points, also pulled down 13 rebounds, and dished out five assists en route to a game-high 36 efficiency rating in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 3 contest.

Chase Simon added 20 points behind 5/7 long-range attempts. David Holston was out with a thigh injury, but Axel Julien helped cover for his missing teammate with 11 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Hans Vanwijn also registered 11 points.

The team coached by Laurent Legname, undefeated in Jeep Elite Pro A prior to the suspension of the French league, earned a 2-0 start in Group B.

The visitors fell to 0-1 playing for the first time since October 10. Vojtech Hruban accounted for 26 points but was not enough.
