Steven Gray left Peristeri but has stayed in the Basketball Champions League, moving his talent to Igokea, the Bosnian club announced.
Gray requested to leave Peristeri recently and his contract didn’t include a buy-out option.
The 31-year-old shooting guard has been averaging 21.3 points, 4.5 assists and two rebounds over four BCL games this season while in Greece, he logged 12.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and two assists per game.
He was named the MVP for the month of October in BCL during which he posted a record-breaking performance with 39 points on 10-13 shooting from deep and 47 PIR.
Igokea is in the driver’s seat to secure BCL payoffs in Group G in front of the last game of the regular season. They have to beat Turk Telekom or Hapoel Jerusalem has to lose against Limoges. Both team play on the road.
