While the exciting end to the 2020-21 Basketball Champions League awaits, the players who stood out throughout this season have been picked out and chosen for the awards.
One of the awards belonged to the 2000-born Yoan Makoundou who played for Cholet this season in BCL and was named the Best Young Player.
The French prospect, who’s been analyzed by Eurhoops as one of the top prospects who will show up in the upcoming NBA Draft, managed to grab the awards despite Cholet being eliminated at the end of the regular season.
Makoundou averaged 10.4 points and 5.2 rebounds with two of his best games coming against Hapoel Holon and AEK when he scored 20 and 18 points respectively while adding eight and nine rebounds along the way.
