After four NCAA seasons, Ege Havsa returns to his home country and joins Besiktas Icrypex

Besiktas Icrypex has secured the services of Turkish guard Ege Havsa, the team announced.

Havsa, 24, out of the youth academy of Anadolu Efes spent the last four years in the NCAA. His college career featured two years at Fordham and one at Utah Valley, prior to his senior season at Rice. He posted 4.6 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.4 assists per match in 2020-21.

The fifth summer addition for the Turkish club follows Steve Vasturia, Josh Reaves, Dedric Lawson, and Ata Kahraman in the list of newcomers.

The team is heading to Group H of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season in competition with Hereda San Pablo Burgos, Rytas, EWE Baskets Oldenburg for the tickets to the next round.
