AEK announced that the club has penned a two-year deal with Braian Angola. The 27-year-old Colombian forward played for Nes Ziona in Israel last season, averaging 19.1 points and 7.2 rebounds.
“I feel amazing that in the new season I will play in the AEK jersey. I have heard a lot about my new team. I have heard about its famous history, about the titles, about its… crazy fans. It is a unique opportunity for me to prove my worth and my talent at this level. The Greek Championship is very famous and I am glad that I will also participate in it,” Angola said.
Angola will make his return to the Basketball Champions League where he played with Oostende back in the 2019-20 campaign.
