Teams playing away from home found plenty of momentum this week in the Basketball Champions League. Big wins across the board with several teams getting early looks into potentially securing top-seed and direct qualification to the next stage. Regular Season Round 2 was completed, minus one suspended match.

The Monday “Game of the Week” went to the visitors for the second time in the row, as U-BT Cluj Napoca doubled up in Group G sending Happy Casa Brindisi to 0-2. The Darussafaka versus Hapoel U-NET Holon meeting was postponed due to COVID-19 and rescheduled for December 7 at 18:00 CET.

Apart from the Romanian champions, the road theme completely painted the picture in Group D as the winning sides jumped to 2-0 forcing their rivals to 0-2. Henry Sims starred for NutriBullet Treviso in the win over AEK, while Falco Szombathely inched past VEF Riga.

Unicaja Malaga blowing out Lavrio Megabolt placed the Spanish outlet in the lead of Group C as the lone 2-0 team. JDA Dijon managed to catch up with the Greek side at 1-1 thanks to the win over Nizhny Novgorod.

Group H fell into a four-way tie at 1-1 after two rounds, as Rytas Vilnius and Besiktas Icrypex bounced back from their opening week losses defeating Hereda San Pablo Burgos and EWE Baskets Oldenburg, respectively.

Groups A, B, E, and F will be in action next week. Groups C, D, G, and H will complete Round 3 between 1 and 3 November.
