Gabriel Olaseni had everything under control together with Troy Caupain as they led Darussafaka past Brindisi in the Basketball Champions League

Happy Casa Brindisi started off the game better (21-13) but Darussafaka turned things around and managed to hold on until the end for a close 82-76 home win in the Basketball Champions League.

Darussafaka, after postponing the previous game due to COVID-19, got its first win this season and is currently at 1-2 in Group G while the Italian squad still awaits its first victory (0-3).

Gabriel Olaseni banked in 21 points on 8-10 shooting while Troy Caupain scored 18 and Dogus Özdemiroglu 12 points.

On the opposing side, Nick Perkins had 18 in addition to Nathan Adrian and Raphael Gaspardo’s ten points each.

Teh score was 73-72 in favor of Darussafaka with two minutes left when Olaseni and Wayne McCullough made a 7-2 run for their team and decided the outcome.
