After losing at the buzzer in Round 1 to Bahcesehir, Igokea strikes back by beating ERA Nymburk 91-74 at home, thanks to an incredible scoring performance by Bryant Crawford.

The former Reggio Emilia player had 33 points and 7 assists, producing one of the best individual displays so far in the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League.

He wasn’t the only one who had an amazing night: Nikola Tanasković ended the game with a giant double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds. Kendrick Ray added 16 points off the bench.

ERA Nymburk had five players in double digits, but they weren’t enough to contain the Bosnian team on defense. Gerel Simmons (18 p.) was his team’s high-scorer for the night, while Marek Klassen recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists.

ERA  Nymburk’s Petr Benda wrote history, becoming the first player in the history of the competition to reach more than 350 rebounds.

After a pretty balanced game before the start of the fourth quarter (61-56), the home side got a 30-18 run in the last ten minutes of the encounter, finding the victory.

With this win, Igokea bounces back and goes to the 1-1 record in Group D. ERA Nymburk stays at the bottom, with two losses in a row.
