Coming back from a 12-point deficit, Limoges CSP defeated Baxi Manresa, 88-77, Tuesday.

Seton Hall product Desi Rodriguez made a new personal best for the 2022-23 season with 22 points, including nine in the fourth quarter of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 5 affair. Matching his own season-high, Javontae Hawkins followed with 21 points.

It was all about Jerrick Harding in the first quarter. The former Weber State standout had 20 points after ten minutes of action. But he was held to four points in the middle quarters and ended up with a game-high 30 points as Manresa was forced into a catchup role in the bottom end of the contest hosted in Pavello Nou Congost.

The team guided by Massimo Cancellieri went up to 2-3 in Group F, after jumping to 7-4 in France’s Betclic Elite LNB Pro A by taking down LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne Saturday. The fifth win in a row across all competitions clinched a berth in the Play-In Round, to be contested in a best-of-three series in January. Dropping to 1-4 earlier, VEF Riga was knocked out of contention.

Sitting at 2-8 in Spain’s Liga Endesa, the team coached by Pedro Martinez fell to 3-2 in Group F. In Gameday 6, a win on the road against VEF Riga alone will not be enough for the top seed but must be paired with Limoges besting Benfica in Portugal.

Apart from the eighth loss in the last ten games between BCL and ACB, Dani Perez exited with a hand injury midway through the fourth period. Babatunde Olumuyiwa and Elias Valtonen were both ruled out for the game.
