At halftime, SL Benfica was up by 8 points against Limoges CSP in their last game of the 2022-23 Basketball Champions League Regular Season. At the final buzzer, the French team won 79-59.

Bryce Jones almost had a perfect night, scoring 26 points, adding 5 rebounds and 4 assists, and shooting 8/10 FG, 2/2 3PTS, and 8/8 FT.

Desi Rodriguez, who scored 15 or more points in each of his previous two BCL games, and Nicolas Lang contributed, combining for 35 points in their team’s win.

On the losing side, Terrell Carter was by far the best player on the Portuguese team, as he had 15 points in less than 20 minutes on the court.

Ivan Almeida, who dragged the BCL newcomer since the start of their adventure, had a rough night, ending only with 2 points and 5 assists.

Despite being scoreless in points from the bench, the French team produced a crazy comeback in the third quarter (25-5), and dominated under the basket, grabbing 42 rebounds. Benfica had 30.

With this result and following Manresa’s victory in Latvia, Limoges CSP finishes third in Group F. The Spanish team got first place, with SL Benfica coming right after.
