Babatunde Olumuyiwa started 2023 in the worst possible way. The BAXI Manresa player, out of court due to injury for weeks, had an accident on New Year’s Eve.
The Catalan Regió7 reported that a member of the Manresa, positive in the breathalyzer control, was to blame for an accident in which three vehicles collided, although there were no personal injuries.
After the publication of this news, BAXI Manresa confirmed that a member of its squad had been the cause of the said accident, announcing that disciplinary measures would be taken against the player, whose identity has been revealed today.

Babatunde Olumuyiwa has published a statement apologizing for the events, announcing that he will accept his punishment and that he wants to return the damage caused on the track.
