Darussafaka and Bahcesehir will come back to play in the Basketball Champions League

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

As tragically known, both Turkey and Syria have been shocked by a tremendous earthquake that killed more than 29.000 people at the moment. Therefore, during the past few days sport was put aside, and basketball hasn’t been an exception.

In the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Week 3, the three Turkish teams which are playing this stage (Galatasaray NEF, Darussafaka, and Bahcesehir) didn’t play their games, which were rescheduled at the beginning of March.

However, despite this being the week of national cups all over Europe when the International competitions are stopped, Darussafaka and Bahcesehir will come back playing, anticipating their Gameday 4 duties respectively against UCAM Murcia and BAXI Manresa.

Both the black-and-green team and Bahcesehir are currently last respectively in Group L and Group J of the Round of 16, with two losses in a row each. The rest of Gameday 4 encounters will be played between the 7th and 9th of March.

The schedule for February 15 in the BCL Round of 16

  • UCAM Murcia – Darussafaka at 20:30 CET
  • BAXI Manresa – Bahcesehir at 21:00 CET
