Thanks to the 69-60 OT win against Galatasaray NEF, Limoges CSP finished its Basketball Champions League Round of 16 by ending its losing streak. The French team finished the season with a 1-5 record.
Desi Rodriguez, who had his Basketball Champions League career-high with 25 points against Unicaja Malaga, had 13 points in the win over the Turkish team. Bryce Jones had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Kenneth Kadji, who came off the bench, ended with 10 points and 6 rebounds. He was the second-best rebounder of the team against Galatasaray behind Wilfried Yeguete, who had 13 with 6 points.
Daron Russell, who was Galatasaray’s highest-scorer in the reverse fixture against Limoges CSP with 20 points, ended with 13. He once again proved a great connection with Dusan Ristic, who went close to a double-double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Tyrus McGee added 10 off the bench.
Both Limoges CSP and Galatasaray NEF won’t play in the Quarter-Finals. In the next BCL phase, in fact, there will be Unicaja Malaga and AEK, who arrived first and second in Group K following the win by the Spanish team earlier in the day.
