After reaching the Turkish BSL finals and eventually losing to champions Anadolu Efes, Pinar Karsiyaka completed an admirable season and already extended the stay in the roster of one of the team’s stars.

Errick McCollum has a contract for next season, as the Turkish club officially announced.

The oldest brother of NBA player CJ McCollum, 35-years old Errick, primarily plays as a shooting guard.

After playing college basketball at Goshen College, an NAIA school, McCollum embarked on an international basketball career. He has played for several professional teams overseas, in Europe and China

One of the highlights of Errick McCollum‘s career came in the 2015-2016 season when he played for the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) team, the Zhejiang Golden Bulls. He had an outstanding season, leading the league in scoring with an average of 39.6 points per game. His scoring prowess earned him the CBA Foreign MVP award for that season.

He has played also for Anadolu Efes and UNICS Kazan, having a solid presence in the EuroLeague and the EuroCup, winning in 2016 the EuroCup trophy.

With Karsiyaka, he is competing in the Basketball Champions League and of course in the Turkish BSL.

The Turkish club also announced that guard Thomas Akyazılı (26, 1,90) stayed with the team signing a two-year deal.
