The fourth week of the 2023/24 Basketball Champions League season was full of excitement, turnarounds and a few suriprises.

Visitors proved that home court isn’t a guarantee for the win, with five matches ending up in favor of the away teams.

It all started with Cholet surprising Darussafaka in Istanbul for their first away BCL victory. Dinamo Sassari then grabbed a first road win over Ludwigsburg, while Szombathely stunned Le Mans in France.

AEK Athens proved to be too strong for Polish side King Szczecin, winning away from home to maintain perfect record, while Hapoel Jerusalem cruised past Benfica in Lisbon in Round 1 postponed match, to improve to 2-0.

Unicaja also stayed perfect after three rounds, defending it’s home turf against Peristeri, while Bonn celebrated their 2023 BCL championship and defeated Breogan on a special night at home.

Tenerife is an epitome of a team taking advantege of it’s home court, with a convincing win over VEF Riga to improve it’s winning streak at Santiago Martin Arena to 16 games. Just one win shy of AS Monaco’s record.
