Back on track after an 0-2 start in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season, Rytas made short work of Opava on Tuesday.

Exploding in the second half and opening a separation north of 30 points, the Vilnius outfit ended up with a 99-63 victory in Avia Solutions Group Arena.

Pushing toward the 100-point mark in Gameday 3 of Group B, five players scored in double-digits. Lukas Uleckas and Martynas Echodas topped the list with 15 points each. Javin DeLaurier and Gytis Masiulis followed with 14 points apiece. Arnas Velicka went for 12 points behind 5/6 field goals and also tallied nine assists, four rebounds, and two steals.

Additionally carrying an 8-1 tally in domestic Betsafe LKL, the team coached by Lithuanian tactician Giedrius Zibenas improved to 1-2 in the four-team group. The losing side fell to 0-3 with a ninth defeat in as many away games in the Champions League.

The visitors, guided by Petr Czudek, were competitive for most of the first half. Struggling after the break, the 36-point final margin nearly matched the average differential of 37 points through the losing streak on the road.

Fueling a solid start, Jakub Sirina produced nine of his 14 points in the first quarter. Ludek Jurecka had 13 points and Simon Pursl finished with 12 points.

The Czechia champions suited up 11 players. Stuck on the injury list, Filip Zbranek and Miroslav Kvapil did not make the trip to Lithuania.
