If there’s one team that has been surprising thus far in this season’s Basketball Champions League, that’s ERA Nymburk. However, they got stopped too; this time by Nanterre 92.
With a comeback 90-86 victory captured on the road in Czechia, the French side was able to tie with Francesco Tabellini’s team at 2-1 in Group L, handing them only their second defeat in the BCL.
Desi Rodriguez was the man of the hour for Nanterre 92, finishing with an outstanding 37-PIR performance that consisted of 25 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and 5 steals.
While Nanterre’s No.23 was the reason why they were able to emerge victorious from a difficult encounter, he was assisted by Justin Tillman, who had the same amount of points.
Regarding ERA Nymburk, which led for as much as 28:42 minutes in the encounter but couldn’t hold the lead in the final minutes of the game, as usual, there wasn’t a sole protagonist.
The Czech champs had four players finishing the game in double-digits, with Tylan Birts being Nymburk’s top-scorer at 14 points in tonight’s defeat.
