Everybody thought Unicaja was unstoppable and unbeatable in the Basketball Champions League, as they hadn’t been losing for 18 consecutive games, throughout 15 months of unbeaten streak.

However, last week Galatasaray managed to pull off an unexpected feat. Heading into this week, Ibon Navarro’s team was surely eager to get revenge, and they proved it by fighting until the final seconds.

Ultimately, they managed to answer back and win 97-91 in front of their rocking fans.

Kendrick Perry (16 points and 9 assists) and Tyson Carter (16 points and 5 assists) led the whole team in scoring, but they weren’t the only protagonists of the victory, as it usually happens.

On Galatasaray, Will Cummings showed experienced moves, with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.

At this point, waiting for the matchup between Rytas Vilnius and Manisa Basket, Unicaja stays on top of Group J with a 3-1 record, followed by Galatasaray at 2-2.
