By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

The Quarterfinals of the Basketball Champions League start with Game 1 across four venues on Wednesday. Visit the math of the penultimate stage of the 2024-25 season for a stroll down memory lane before even more exciting and history-making moments.

Perhaps the most intriguing matchup is between ERA Nymburk and Galatasaray. They met each other in Group D of the Regular Season, with the Czech champions picking up wins on both occasions. Back in the 2021-22 campaign, the Lions secured two wins in as many games to open the head-to-head series in the BCL. Beyond previous clashes, Vojtech Hruban can become the fourth player with 100 appearances in the league in Game 1.

The defending champion, Unicaja, was drawn against UnaHotels Reggio Emilia. The Malaga outfit is looking to extend a winning streak in Palacio de Deporters Jose Maria Martin Carpena to 14 games and open a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series.

After a 12-0 start in the latest Champions League journey, La Laguna Tenerife has the same plan. But visiting Bertram Derthona Tortona carries a four-game winning streak to Santiago Martin.

At 6-0 in Sunel Arena this season, AEK Betsson will be looking to extend the streak into a home-court advantage opposite Nanterre 92.
