The Basketball Champions League Final Four will be held in Athens or Paris.
The winner of a best-of-three series between AEK Betsson and Nanterre 92 will combine a berth with home-court advantage in the Final Four.
The two potential destinations for the championship-crowning spectacle were announced on Tuesday.
Athens previously welcomed the Final Four in 2018 and the Final Eight in 2020, but Paris would mark the first season-ending visit to France. Antwerp, Belgrade, Bilbao, Malaga, Nizhny Novgorod, and San Cristobal de La Laguna are the remaining cities crowning BCL champions over the last eight years.
After clinching a berth in the penultimate stage of the 2024-25 season, the Queen revealed intentions to bid for the hosting rights of the Final Four. Meanwhile, Paris had also emerged among additional candidates.
The capital of Greece or France will eventually be confirmed as host, depending on which team progresses through the Quarterfinals.
The rest of the Quarterfinals field consists of defending champion Unicaja facing off with UnaHotels Reggio Emilia, undefeated La Laguna Tenerife taking on Bertram Derthona Tortona, and ERA Nymburk versus Galatasaray set to tip off an intriguing best-of-three series. Game 1 across all four series will be played on Wednesday.
