Several moves across the Basketball Champions League field, including introducing newcomers in 28-year-old Shannon Bogues and 31-year-old Francesco Candussi

Shannon Bogues emerged as the eighth confirmed Le Mans player for the next season. The former Stephen F. Austin standout displayed his talents in the G League, Poland, Cyprus, Switzerland, and Hungary before a brilliant run with ASA in the second tier of France, averaging 17.6 points, 3.4 assists, and 3.3 rebounds per contest in the 2024-25 journey. Besides being upgraded to the Betclic Elite, he will also debut in the Basketball Champions League.

Another new addition to the league, Francesco Candussi, penned a multi-year contract extension with Trieste. Joining the club in 2023 and after helping in the return to Italy’s LBA UnipolSai, the 31-year-old center now expands his career into continental action.

Elsewhere, Igokea m:tel picked up Nighael Ceaser, a veteran of 16 BCL games with ERA Nymburk. The Texas State product went from launching his professional career in Finland in 2023 to helping the Czech club capture League and Cup titles.

Karditsa Iaponiki re-signed Leonidas Kaselakis for two more years. The 35-year-old forward carries the experience of 38 BCL games, spread between fellow Greek clubs Peristeri bwin and Promitheas, to the newcomers.

Getting ready for the Qualifiers

Petrolina AEK Larnaca has been busy over recent weeks, securing the services of Jayveous McKinnis, Ta’Lon Cooper, Jesse Hunt, and Taveion Hollingsworth for the next season, and most recently, 26-year-old Giorgos Varsos.

Also heading to the Qualification Rounds, the Bakken Bears penned 27-year-old Sylvester Berg to a two-year contract extension, after hiring former player Skyler Bowlin as the new head coach.

Fellow Qualifiers outfit, Basketball Lowen Braunschweig, announced a two-year contract extension for captain Chip Flanigan.

Plus, Uniclub Bet-Juventus confirmed Kestutis Kemzura as the returning play-caller.
