Preparing for the club’s first-ever European campaign, Trapani Shark made official their first move on the transfer market, stealing one of the Italian league’s finest guards in 2024-25.
The team from Sicily officially announced the addition of Jordan Ford, who moved overseas last summer to join Aquila Basket Trento in the LBA and BKT EuroCup.
Not reaching the Eight-Finals, Jordan Ford still put up 16.4 points per game in the EuroCup, shooting with excellent percentages: 62.6% from two, 44.0% from three, and 91.0% at the line.
His debut season in Italy was still a success, as the 27-year-old won the Italian Cup with Trento.
Now, he will debut in the Basketball Champions League, where Jasmin Repesa’s team qualified for the first time ever. They will be joined by another newcomer like Pallacanestro Trieste.
In the LBA, Paolo Galbiati’s Trento couldn’t get past EA7 Emporio Armani Milan in the Quarter-Finals, while Trapani Shark reached the Semi-Finals as newly promoted, losing 3-0 to Brescia.
