Following Errick McCollum, Galatasaray MCT Technic also added Jerome Robinson. The 28-year-old American guard inked a one-year contract with an option for a second season, as announced on Sunday.
Robinson is returning to the Basketball Champions League, following nine appearances with Saint-Quentin during the 2024-25 season, and will debut in the Turkiye Sigorta Basketbol Super Ligi. His first overseas campaign went from 13.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.7 steals, and 0.1 blocks per BCL contest to 15.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.2 blocks per game over 35 appearances across all competitions in France.
Coming out of Boston College, the native of North Carolina was selected with the 13th overall pick of the 2018 NBA draft. Over the next four years, he went on to feature in 140 games between the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards, and Golden State Warriors. He also played for the Agua Caliente Clippers and Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League.
On Monday morning, Israeli BCL club Hapoel Netanel Holon announced the first offseason addition with Lior Carreira penning a one-year contract. After 11 appearances in the FIBA Europe Cup with Ironi Ness Ziona and two more recent solid seasons with Hapoel Nofar Falil / Rivulis Elion, the 27-year-old Israeli winger will be displaying his talents under the guidance of Danny Franco.
Moves in Romania and Belgium
Among the teams preparing for the Qualification Rounds of the Champions League, CSM Oradea confirmed long-time head coach Cristian Achim for the 2025-26 season.
Three years after his departure, 24-year-old Niels de Ridder reunited with Windrose Giants Antwerp on a two-year contract. Also penning two-year deals, Enoch Cheeks and Rasheed Bello recently joined the Belgian club to start their professional careers.
Launching the 2025-26 season, the Qualifiers will be played between September 23 and 28. The Regular Season tips off on October 7.
