Galatasaray MCT Technic has officially signed American forward Fabian White Jr. for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
The 26-year-old arrives after an impressive year with Manisa BBSK, where he averaged 14.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game in the Turkish BSL, and 15.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in the Basketball Champions League.
He also had a short stint with Al Ahly Tripoli, where he stood out with 24.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
White, a 2.02m versatile forward known for his athleticism and outside shooting, previously played in the G League and NCAA, and spent a season with Metropolitans 92 in France.
Galatasaray welcomed White with high expectations as they continue to build their roster for the new season.
Among other recent moves, the Lions picked up 29-year-old Muhsin Yasar, a veteran of 43 Champions League games.
Another team in Group E of the BCL Regular Season, Igokea m:tel added 29-year-old Javon Bess.
Schakel jumps in with lasting original Oostende
Utilizing overseas options and relocating to Europe, Jordan Schakel signed with Filou Oostende for the upcoming season.
During the 2021-22 and 2022-23 journeys, the former San Diego State standout logged six NBA appearances with the Washington Wizards. The fifth year of his professional career moves him to the BCL, shortly following the lasting originals were drawn into Group G alongside back-to-back champion, Unicaja, Mersin Spor, and Karditsa Iaponiki.
The Belgian champions also confirmed captain Pierre-Antoine Gillet, Simon Buysse, Haris Bratanovic, and Joppe Mennes as returning players.
Katsivelis in a familiar environment
Another team preparing for a tenth straight BCL campaign, specifically heading to Group F, AEK Betsson launched a third collaboration with Dimitris Katsivelis. On the experience of 33 appearances in the league, the 33-year-old guard inked a two-year contract.
Buys teams in Group A included Promitheas Vikos Cola, signing 22-year-old Kendal Coleman for his first professional season. Also, Legia Warszawa added 27-year-old Ben Shungu, who played three Champions League games with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in 2022.
Packing the experience of eight BCL appearances, 28-year-old Yair Kravitz penned a one-year contract with an option for a second season with Hapoel Netanel Holon. The Israeli club is preparing to compete in Group C.
Derby, PAOK, Antwerp, Kalev
Moving to signings for the Qualification Rounds, SC Derby picked up 27-year-old Justin Turner, and also confirmed returning players in 28-year-old Emir Hadzibegovic and 36-year-old Nikola Pavlicevic for the team coached by Petar Mijovic.
On the opposite side of a Qualifiers pairing, PAOK mateco added 34-year-old Cleveland Melvin and 29-year-old Stephen Brown, besides reuniting with 27-year-old Antonis Koniaris.
Elsewhere in the eight-team tournament featuring Derby and PAOK, Windrose Anwerp Giants announced the arrival of 25-year-old Joel Murray.
In the championship path of the Qualification Rounds, Kalev/Cramo brought in 19-year-old Erik Makke, and also re-signed 21-year-old Gregor Kuuba and 22-year-old Hugo Toom.
