Unicaja announces a four-year contract extension with 29-year-old Tyson Perez

Tyson Perez penned a contract extension with Unicaja, committing until the end of the 2028-29 season. In the championship run of the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League season, he averaged 8.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game over 15 appearances, helping the team based in Malaga complete a back-to-back, in addition to upping his total to 21 appearances in the league.

Among opponents in the 2025-26 Regular Season, Mersin MSK re-signed 29-year-old Kartal Ozmızrak and 24-year-old Deniz Kilicli. Both are returning to the Champions League, after nine appearances with Bahcesehir Koleji and eight with Pinar Karsiyaka. Elsewhere in Group G, Cholet picked up 25-year-old Qudus Wahab, and Filou Oostende welcomed back 18-year-old Corentin Efono.

Moving on from Oostende and 15 Champions League games over the last two years, 25-year-old Matthias Tass joined Legia Warszawa. His next continental campaign starts in Group A, versus Rytas, Promitheas Vikos Cola, and MLP Academics Heidelberg.

Thomas Scrubb stays with Tenerife

The latest returning player for La Laguna Tenerife is 33-year-old Thomas Scrubb. Packing 47 BCL games, including 16 with Tenerife last season, the next assignment is in Group D, against Tofas, Bnei PenLink Herzliya, and Trapani Shark.

NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz brought back a familiar BCL face, Adin Vrabac, heading to Group F. The 31-year-old Bosnian forward is a veteran of 19 appearances between Iberostar Tenerife and Partizan over the first two seasons of the league.

In Group B, FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets added 26-year-old Marcus Carr and re-signed 27-year-old Davion Mintz for the next season.

Chalon gets Mutts, and more Qualifier signings

Entering European club continental competitions, 26-year-old Justyn Mutts joined Elan Chalon for the Qualification Rounds and the remainder of the 2025-26 season.

Resurfacing in the preliminary stage of the Champions League, following an appearance with Tartu in 2016, 26-year-old Mart Rosenthal moved to Kalev/Cramo.

Fellow Qualifiers outfit, SC Derby, tabbed 23-year-old Jyare Davis and 17-year-old Zvonimir Dujakovic.
