After debuting in the Basketball Champions League with 7.5 points per game over 13 appearances, helping Unicaja capture a second straight title, 27-year-old Killian Tillie is running it back with the team based in Malaga. Before returning to Europe last August, the French forward played in 54 NBA games.
Per the press release: “Killian Tillie will remain in Malaga for another year, with an option to extend his contract until 2027. The power forward arrived in Malaga last season, where he adapted perfectly to Unicaja‘s working and playing system.”
A veteran of 125 NBA games and champion in 2016, 34-year-old Jordan McRae also carries 12 BCL appearances with AEK Betsson to Hapoel Netanel Holon. The Tennessee product is making his way to Group C of the 2025-26 Regular Season.
Nymburk, Tofas, Legia
Coming out of his last NCAA season and a solid run with Villanova, 24-year-old Jhamir Brickus will start his professional career with ERA Nymburk in Group B.
In Group D, Tofas picked up 27-year-old Isaiah Whaley, a former Connecticut standout with his most recent experience in the VTB United League as a player of Lokomotiv Kuban.
Meanwhile, Legia Warszawa captain Michal Kolenda penned a three-year contract extension. From the Qualification Rounds in 2023, the 28-year-old forward moves directly to Group A.
Filipovity versus Szombathely
Jumping in with 25 BCL games, 29-year-old Marko Filipovity will reinforce FC Porto and face his former team, Falco Szombathely, in the Quarterfinals of a Qualifiers tournament. On the opposite end of the pairing, the Hungarian club welcomed 28-year-old Patrick Whelan, who resurfaces in the Qualification Rounds for a fourth straight year.
Another team powering up in a bid for a ticket to the Regular Season of the next edition of FIBA Europe’s top-tier club continental competition, PAOK mateco picked up 30-year-old Ben Moore for the next season.
Elsewhere, Kauhajoki Karhu announced a one-year deal with 24-year-old Christian Davis, a rookie coming out of his NCAA run with Bradley.
From New Mexico and Dayton, 23-year-old Mustapha Amzil joined Trepca.
